Global Talent Internship Programme

Thank you for attending the Global Talent Internship Breakfast Information event

It was great to see many of you at the GTI Breakfast Information Event on Wednesday 15 August 2018.

A special thank you to Haman Shahpari (CEO, Wahiki), Wyndi Tagi (Founder & Director, WE Accounting) and Ryley Webster (General Manager, Sustainable Coastlines) for sharing their experiences of having an international student/graduate as an intern in their businesses and organisations. There were common themes in their korero including:

  • GTI interns help build their business or organisations’ cultural capability; and,
  • The Superdiversity Institute makes it simple for them as busy employers to match them with interns in the areas they are looking for.

Thank you also to Kevin Ge (BNZ) who was a former intern for a business. He shared about his experience working in a kiwi workplace and how it helped him gain a full time job.
